Gassco – Kollsnes – landfall and receiving facilities for import and export pipelines

The audit was conducted on 23 May 2024.

Objective

The objective was to ensure that Gassco and Kollsnes have a collective approach to the follow-up of the integrity of the pipelines that arrive at and leave Kollsnes on the seaward side. We included the receiving and return facilities for the pipelines, and followed up the integrity management of the pipelines and onshore elements at Kollsnes.

Result

We did not identify any regulatory non-conformities during this audit, but we observed two areas with potential for improvement. These concerned non-conformity management, and information and risk reduction.

What happens now?

We have asked Gassco to provide us with their assessment of the improvement points observed by 15 August 2024.
